The song was originally considered as the first single and the 10th track from the group's ''Have a Nice Day'' album in 1999 but ultimately became an outtake. This song is also known as "The Centre of the Heart (the Suburb to the Brain )". On 23 February 2001, Roxette performed "The Centre of the Heart" at the break during the Swedish Melodifestivalen 2001. A remix CD was released to promote the single. It is the most expensive Roxette video ever produced.
